Staff was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was abundant. The bed, and especially the bedding were very comfortable. The location was walkable to many places. There was a free parking lot right next door, always able to find a spot, although we were traveling in off season. The views of the harbor were spectacular.

LOVED OUR STAY AT THE OCTANT! Great hotel at a great and convenient location right on the main strip of Ponta Delgada. The daily breakfast was fabulous with local cheeses and fruits and a hot station. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The rooms were new, clean and comfortable and every room had an amazing ocean view. Most importantly the hotel is pet friendly and the staff is very attentive to the pets. Would absolutely stay here again! They also have a “relaxation room” that you can use upon arrival to get some rest if your flight arrives before checkin time. Genius idea! Can’t say enough great things about this hotel and it’s staff!

We loved how friendly the staff was, how everything was taken care of, how luxurious everything was and the free breakfast. The breakfast was delicious and had so much to choose from. We only had 2 days and the staff helped us curate an itinerary that matched us.

Everything was as advertised. Staff went the extra mile whenever possible. Breakfast had many options and was a delight every day. The gym was quite nice but not as good as the one in the Octant Furnas location. Still, I enjoyed going there. The view from the whale watching lounge is really good. Get a drink or two and enjoy life.

Location is great for scuba diving, walking around town and go to restaurants Bed is really comfortable Spa facility is superb, a must try recommendation They bring cookies every day in the evening, a great initiative to make it special for guests.

This is a beautiful hotel with impeccable service. Great location if staying in Ponta Delgada. Staff is extremely professional, friendly and helpful. Amazing breakfast that carried us through the day. A lovely way to start each day. Rooms were first class with amazing views of the harbor.
